Welcome to North Carolina Rotaries North Carolina Rotaries is a car club for enthusiasts from across the state and beyond who meet to share their passion the Mazda RX-7 and RX-8 rotary powered sports cars. The website offers: a forum, news events, web links and news feeds, members personal profiles and private messaging. Members of the site can contribute to the site, that is to say you can post or submit to all the sections, making this a true community project. Currently local meets are being held on a regular basis in Raleigh, Charlotte, Moorseville, Wilmington and Jacksonville with more being added as new members join. We also hold several other major club meets, road trips and events across the state during the year. Several of our members participate in IMSA, SCCA, Grand-Am and other race series, HPDE (High Performance Driving Events), Autocross and Car Control clinics at various race tracks and locations on the east coast. Mazda Days - GT LIVE @ Virginia International Raceway
Registration is now open!!!
Once again we will be hosting Mazda Days during GT LIVE at Virginia International Raceway over the weekend of October 3rd - 5th. Mazda Days is part of GT LIVE's fan festival and is open to owners of all Mazda vehicles, not just Rotarys. Last year we had around 100 people sign up. This year we want to make sure everyone makes it to our corner of the paddock!!! We will have a special parking area set up nex to the Gallery building for everyone who registers. Last year we met the crew from Grand Am KONI Series ROAR Racing (great guys with a couple of Mazda RX-8 race cars who hang out on here and we hope will be able to come by and visit with us!), we had Nic Ham from the Grand AM ROLEX Series (Speedsource #70 Mazda RX-8 )come by for a couple of visits, met Patrick Dempsey who was driving for ROAR, got to wander through the paddock area checking out all the teams and watched some great racing as well as all the other events. We'll also get a free hour of karting time at the karts track. This is an event you don't want to miss. |
